To take Aviation courses at Parkland, you’ll need to place into college-level reading, writing, and math. If you’re a non-native speaker, you’ll also need to submit your TOEFL scores.
Parkland College students
To demonstrate your college-level reading, writing, and math skills, you’ll take a placement exam. Appointments for testing should be made with the Assessment Center in U203 on the main campus. Non-native English speakers
If you’re a non-native English speaker, you must demonstrate your English language proficiency by submitting a TOEFL score that’s no more than 2 years old. You must attain an overall score of 85 or higher—with a minimum of 22 in listening and a minimum of 26 in speaking. No alternative means of assessment is accepted.
